Farmstead Cheese

Organic Produce
We’re proud to offer a wide array of organic produce! The term “organic” refers to the way agricultural products are grown and processed. In the U.S., organic crops must be grown without the use of synthetic herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers, or bioengineered genes (GMOs). Organic produce often have more beneficial nutrients, such as antioxidants, than their conventionally-grown counterparts.
Organic farming practices reduce pollution, conserve water, reduce soil erosion, increase soil fertility, and use less energy. Farming without synthetic pesticides is also better for nearby birds and animals as well as people who live close to farms. BUY ORGANIC!

Dairy & Eggs
City Feed offers a variety of local and organic eggs. Baffoni from Rhode Island, Schoolhouse Farm, Pete & Gerry’s and Lil’ Rhody, and even some duck eggs now and then.
We carry Thatcher Farm Milk in glass bottles, Oakhurst, Shaw Farm, Organic Valley, and variety plant based milks.
Coffee
City Feed is proud to feature Organic Fair Trade coffee & tea from Equal Exchange. We also carry Mind Body and Soul, French Roast, Breakfast blend, Decaf and much more.
George Howell Coffee is a customer favorite. Specializing in single origin, small batch roasts. Taste the terroir!
Six Depot out of Stockbridge, MA is a very special operation. They scrupulously source their coffee from farmer co-ops. An excellent cup, and great people!
Fresh Bread
Delivered FRESH Daily from local artisan bakeries.
Iggy’s Bread out of Cambridge, MA delivers Baguettes, Country Rolls, Multi-grain Rolls, French Pullman, 5 grain, and more. Not to mention their Pecan Raisin Rolls, Bagels, and Croissants in our café.
Fornax Bakery in Roslindale, MA delivers their incredible Multi-grain Boule and Rye Boule, White Batard, and Rosemary Batard.
Gluten Free Supply
Our Centre Street store has a section dedicated to Gluten Free grocery items: Crackers, Cookies, Snacks, Baking goods, Pasta & more. Some of our favorite Gluten Free brands include: Udi’s, Siete, Simple Mills, Bob’s Red Mills, Blue Diamond, and Banza. In our freezer section look for Udi’s breads, Gluten Free Waffles, Pies, Pizza & Quick meals. (Look for the Orange GF symbol throughout the store.)
We also offer Udi’s gluten-free in our deli at no extra charge.
Vegan
City Feed offers a wide range of vegan products to choose from. 21st Century Tofu made in Jamaica Plain is a must on the grocery list.
