Until recently barley malt, an essential beer ingredient, needed to be sourced from the Midwest. Thanks to passionate farmers & brewers in New England, were now seeing beers that are brewed locally with local ingredients–truly local beer. Valley Malt is a local malt producer growing grains in Hadley, MA and malting them to be ready for beer production. The fruits of their labor are beers that are brewed with entirely local ingredients. Their malts are currently used by 17 regional breweries and growing.
